Syria: Restoring Lives and Faith – AMSG Global Resources & IHH

On February 6, 2023, a devastating 7.8-magnitude earthquake struck northern Syria, intensifying the hardship of communities already battered by years of war and displacement. Buildings collapsed, families were torn apart, and access to basic needs disappeared overnight.

In response, AMSG Global Resources, in close partnership with IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation, swiftly mobilized to deliver emergency relief and long-term support to some of the hardest-hit regions.

🕌 Rebuilding a House of Worship, Rekindling Hope

Our mission has now expanded to restoring spiritual and communal life:

• Constructing a new mosque in a devastated area to serve as a center for prayer, learning, and unity.

• Restoring faith and dignity for communities left without homes or places of worship.

🚨 Emergency Relief Turned Long-Term Resilience

Immediately following the earthquake and continuing to this day, we have:

• 🍲 Delivered hot meals and food packs to displaced families in refugee camps.

• 🚰 Provided clean water and hygiene kits to prevent disease outbreaks.

• 🧥 Distributed winter clothing and shelter materials to protect families from harsh weather.

👶 Orphan and Widow Support at the Heart of Our Work

• 🧸 Supported over 100 orphans with nourishment, education, and emotional healing.

• 👩‍🎓 Empowered widowed mothers through training programs and micro-enterprise support to help them rebuild lives with dignity.

📈 Our Collective Impact in Syria

• 🏘️ Assisted more than 3,000 families in recovering from the disaster.

• 🪡 Helped dozens of women launch sustainable home-based businesses.

• 🕌 Launched the construction of a new mosque, creating a legacy of faith and resilience.
