On September 8, 2023, a 6.8-magnitude earthquake struck Morocco near the town of Ighil in the High Atlas Mountains. It was the strongest earthquake to hit Morocco in over 120 years, leveling entire villages and leaving thousands homeless, injured, or dead.

In the immediate aftermath of this national tragedy, AMSG Global Resources stepped in swiftly to provide emergency relief to the hardest-hit and most remote areas.
